The Houghton Family had their first reunion in many many many years. Lots of fun and the kids swam (I remember it being much bigger when I was there as a child) and played on the boat. There was plenty of food and the day ended with the usual thunder storm of years past. All in all it was a fun day catching up and meeting new family members too. The first 3 photos are courtesy of George.
Well it has been a long time since I’ve posted. I had a camera that I hated so I gave it to my hubby and have been waiting to get a new camera, which I finally got. I love love love the new camera and here are some pics of my newest ‘niece’ Reese. When my sister, Misty’s doberman, Vegas had to be put down at the beginning of the year she went to a rescue and found Reese, a basset hound. Shes small and very chatty. I puppy sat her in April and she loves her Auntie Kim because she lets her sleep in the bed with her 🙂 Reese’s mom and dad make her sleep in the doggie bed in the floor next to theirs. Anyway, these are some pics of Reese….
The family went to the Houghton Family Reunion this past weekend. There were doggies there too although I don’t know their names 😦 Anyway here are some pooches that are family or neighbors and they are having a great time with the kids and family too.
Next week we will be back with updated pics of Wilbur & Charlotte. They are content with waiting to have their pics taken as long as mom gives the treats. Tomorrow Charlotte goes in to have a couple more growths removed. These are much smaller so hopefully there will be no precancer involved in their removal. We will let you know when we get the results. Until next Thursday, Happy Dogs On Thursday!!!
We also took a trip to the Salisbury Zoo in Maryland. Mom, Dad, Shawn, Kylie, Jennifer, Louis, James & I headed out with picnic lunch in hand. It was a hot hot hot day but we had fun. Love the animals and the kids and adults all had a great time. It’s a smaller zoo so you didn’t miss anything they had there. There is even a playground where the kids hung out after seeing the animals and the adults took a little rest. Louis, James & Jennifer all tried (and succeeded) in petting a goose (whether they wanted to be petted or not).
On my trip to Maryland to visit family I bought a new camera a Canon EOS Rebel to replace the camera I hate hate hated. As for the Rebel I love love love it!!! Here are a few pics of the kiddles: Kylie, Tory, Shawn & Misty. Tory is such a cutie at 2-1/2 years old. When I would take her picture she would say “is it me??” and I would show her the picture on the viewer and she would say “IT’S ME!!!”…too cute!!
